Job Requirements

Interior Design Magazine seeks a proactive, creative marketing professional to oversee consumer and customer marketing, manage special events, and develop lucrative integrated advertising programs.
Ideal Candidate must be able to:
• Create integrated marketing proposals and custom sponsorship programs
• Compose client presentations
• Direct Best of Year Awards program (oversee marketing campaign, contest administration and event execution) Write promotional materials, in-book advertorials, invitations, eBlasts and media kit
• Develop strategic outreach programs and maintain industry alliances with IIDA and USGBC
• Oversee production and copyediting for annual Buyers Guide and two annual NeoCon® directories
• Supervise two graphic designers (trafficking, project management, etc) and one marketing admin
• Oversee $500,000 marketing budget and process invoices, negotiate with vendors
This role will also be responsible for:
• Managing execution of all marketing programs in-book and online
• Executing key aspects of Interior Design and partner events, organizing presence at key annual trade shows, our signature events, and client events
• Must liaise with clients, industry partners, vendors and and internal departments
• Writing general and client-specific presentations, proposals, sell sheets, invitations, house ads, monthly promos and other collateral/materials
• Sourcing vendors, managing P&L's on all programs
• Managing key aspects of the Marketing Department system: scheduling house ads, responsible for all aspects of direct mail campaigns, monitoring and paying invoices
Requirements
Candidate must have magazine marketing experience. Must have very strong organizational skills; ability to work on many projects concurrently; and be creative, proactive and resourceful; must be an excellent writer. A strong design sensibility a plus. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Quark and/or Indesign a plus.
Required Travel: 10-25%
