Michael Davies-Venn is a freelance writer, journalist and media consultant focusing on broadcast journalism and politics. He is originally from Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa and is based in the United States. He worked briefly with the BBC and has over a decade experience practicing broadcast journalism as a reporter, producer and host.
Mr. Davies-Venn graduated Summa Cum Laude B.Sc. (Hons) in mass communications and holds an MA in broadcast journalism from the University of Sheffield, UK. He was a stringer for the Associated Press (AP) and has won several first-place regional AP awards. He has also written for the British newspaper, Kent News.
